Fundraising event ideas that give your guests something to play

You've got the venue, the program and the crowd. A Let's Tingo game gives the people there something to do between the speeches, the auction and the band, and it raises money while they play. We build a themed scavenger hunt bingo board for your event, guests pay to play it, and 100% of the proceeds go to your cause.

Every board is dealt from the same list of finds, and the first to fill five in a row calls a Tingo. Plenty of fundraising event ideas for nonprofits mean planning a whole new event. This one fits inside the event you're already running.

How it works for your guests

A QR code on the table cards, on a sign by registration or in the printed program is all it takes. Guests pay for the game, and that payment is their donation. They join in the app or in a browser, and they can start looking right away.

It's a scavenger hunt fundraiser that runs alongside everything else on the program, so guests play in between the parts of the night they came for.

Fundraising event games for a gala

At a gala, the board sends people around the room: the auction table, the ice sculpture, the board chair, the first couple on the dance floor. Guests who'd usually stay at their own table have a reason to cross the room and meet the people at the next one.

We write the board with you, from your knowledge of the event and ours of what makes a good find. The board carries your name, your colors and your logo.

Charity event ideas for walks and community days

A fun run, a charity walk or a block party is spread out over streets and hours, and the board goes with it: the water station, the mile marker, a dog in a race bib. Make it a timed game that ends at the finish line party, and the game wraps up on schedule, with the most Tingos winning.

If you're weighing charity fundraising ideas for a community day, this one works for everyone who turns up, whether they came to run, to walk or to cheer from the sidewalk.

A prize for the winner

Name a prize when you set it up, and everyone sees what they're playing for. Whoever has the most Tingos when the game ends wins it. If a local business has donated a prize, this gives a room full of people a reason to play for it.

Let's build a board for your event

Tell us about your event: the cause, who's coming, and the moments you most want them to notice. We'll come back with ideas for what a Tingo game could look like on the night. Let's Tingo works the same way for nonprofit fundraisers, animal shelter fundraisers and PTA fundraisers, and you'll find everything else we build on our partners page.
