Scavenger hunt ideas for every occasion

A scavenger hunt works almost anywhere: in the car, on the trail, around the house or across a whole city. Let's Tingo turns it into a game of bingo. You build a board of things to find, everyone gets their own board from the same list, and the first to fill five in a row calls a Tingo.

The scavenger hunt ideas below are sorted by occasion. Each one has its own list of finds to start from, and the game takes it from there.

Pick a game type, tell Let's Tingo what you're doing and where you're headed, and it builds a list of finds from that. Keep the good ones, reword or trash the rest, and add the ones only your group would think of. Then share the game with a link or a QR code, and everyone joins in the app or in a browser.

That's the part a printed list can't do. In most games, finds are shared, so when anyone spots something, it shows up on every board that has it. It's a scavenger hunt app that keeps the whole group in the same game, even when you're not all in the same place.

Outdoor scavenger hunt or photo scavenger hunt

Most boards are an outdoor scavenger hunt: things to spot on a walk, a drive or a day out. Pick a camera game and it becomes a photo scavenger hunt instead. Every find needs a picture, and the photo stays with the find for the whole group to see, so the board ends up holding the day.

Photo scavenger hunt ideas work best when the finds are things you'd want a picture of anyway: the view from the top of the trail, the best costume at the party, the whole group in matching shirts.
