An indoor scavenger hunt for the days you can't go out

When it's pouring outside, or it's January and too cold for the park, the house gets small fast. Let's Tingo turns it into a game of bingo. You build a board of things to find around the house, everyone gets their own board from the same list, and the first to fill five in a row calls a Tingo.

It's an indoor scavenger hunt that sends everyone into closets, drawers and corners they haven't looked in for a while.

A house scavenger hunt built from your own rooms

Pick a game type, tell Let's Tingo you're stuck at home on a rainy day with the kids, and it builds a list of finds from that: a striped sock, a wooden spoon, a book with a dog on the cover. Keep the ones you like, add the toy that's been missing since the holidays, and share the game.

In most games, finds are shared, so when anyone spots something, it shows up on every board that has it. If the kids split up between the bedrooms and the kitchen, everyone sees what the others just found.

Rainy day activities that last all week

Rainy day activities at home don't have to end when the rain does. A board can keep going for days. Make it a timed game, set it to end on Friday evening, and the same board runs all week. Whoever has the most Tingos when it ends wins.

Name a prize when you set it up, like choosing the movie for Friday night, and everyone sees what they're playing for.

Finds you can show off

Pick a camera game and every find needs a photo. The photo stays with the find for the whole group to see, which suits finds you can't carry around to show people, like rain on the window or the clock in the hall. By the end of the day, the board holds a picture of everything everyone found.

An indoor scavenger hunt for adults

A rainy day isn't only for families. Friends snowed in at a cabin, a game night with the neighbors, or a holiday party that can't go outside can all play on a board built around where they're spending the day.

Make it a join-any-time game and it's live the moment the invites go out, so guests who arrive late can join halfway through.
