Campground activities your guests can play any day of the week

The activity schedule fills Saturday, and the rest of the week families are stopping by the office to ask what's going on. A Let's Tingo board gives them an answer that doesn't need anyone on your staff to run it. We build it with you, a bingo board of trails, landmarks and corners of your grounds worth finding, and guests play it on their own schedule.

Each guest gets their own board from the same list of finds, and the first to fill five in a row calls a Tingo. Families who'd usually stay by the pool end up at the lake, on the nature trail and in the camp store.

How it works for your guests

A QR code on a sign at check-in, on the site map or in the welcome packet is all it takes. Guests scan it, join in a tap, and get their board. Joining is free for them, in the app or in a browser.

Families work their way around the grounds together, calling out the vintage camper and the deer at the edge of the field.

Campground activities director ideas that run on their own

If you're the one planning the calendar, you know the weekday gaps. A board runs whether you're on shift or not. Set it to run the whole season, and make it a join-any-time game, so the family that checks in on Wednesday joins a board that's been going since Memorial Day.

We write the board with you, from your knowledge of the grounds and ours of what makes a good find. The board carries your name, your colors and your logo.

A hotel scavenger hunt

Hotels have more to find than most guests ever see: the painting in the lobby, the rooftop view, the courtyard fountain. A hotel scavenger hunt sends families through all of it on a rainy afternoon, and out into the neighborhood around you when the sun comes out.

Resort activities for families

Resorts already have the pools, the beach and the mini golf. A board ties them into one game the whole family plays. Make it a camera game and every find needs a photo, so by the end of the stay the board holds the best pictures of the trip.

A prize at checkout

Turn it into a sponsored game and the board ends in a prize drawing. Guests who hit the Tingo target before the game ends are entered, they can see how many people are playing and how many have qualified, and one winner is drawn when time runs out. A free night on their next stay gives people a reason to come back.

Let's build a board for your guests

Tell us about your campground, hotel or resort: what's on the grounds, who stays with you, and what you most want them to find. We'll come back with ideas for what a Tingo board could look like for your guests. Let's Tingo works the same way for park scavenger hunts, self-guided walking tours and zoo scavenger hunts, and you'll find everything else we build on our partners page.
