A park scavenger hunt for every park in your system
Most families have one park they always go to, and a few they've never set foot in. A Let's Tingo board gives them a reason to try the others. We build a park scavenger hunt with you, a bingo board of trails, playgrounds and landmarks across your parks, and residents play it whenever they're out.
Each player gets their own board from the same list of finds, and the first to fill five in a row calls a Tingo. The park on the other side of town gets new visitors, and the trail you just opened gets walked.

How it works for your residents
A QR code on a sign at the trailhead, on the park map or in your program guide is all it takes. Residents scan it, join in a tap, and get their board. Joining is free for them, in the app or in a browser.
Families work their way along the paths together, calling out the heron in the shallows and the footbridge over the creek, and finding the parks they didn't know they had.

Parks and recreation events that run all season
A seasonal challenge doesn't need anyone at a table. Set it to run from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the board keeps going all summer, with every trip to the park another chance to fill a few squares. It sits comfortably alongside the parks and rec events already on your calendar, and it keeps people coming out on the weekends in between.
We write the board with you, from your staff's knowledge of every park and ours of what makes a good find. The board carries your department's name, colors and logo.

Community event ideas for families
For a one-day event, like a park opening, a spring festival or a movie night on the lawn, make it a join-any-time game, so families who arrive late can jump in halfway through. If you're looking for community event ideas for families that don't need a big crew to run, a board built around the park you're already in is a good place to start.

A prize for finishing the challenge
Turn it into a sponsored game and the board ends in a prize drawing. Players who hit the Tingo target before the game ends are entered, they can see how many people are playing and how many have qualified, and one winner is drawn when time runs out. A season pool pass gives people a reason to visit every park on the list.

Let's build a board for your parks
Tell us about your parks and programs: what's out there, who uses it, and what you most want your community to find. We'll come back with ideas for what a Tingo board could look like across your system. Let's Tingo works the same way for garden scavenger hunts, festival activities and library scavenger hunts, and you'll find everything else we build on our partners page.
