A zoo scavenger hunt built for your zoo or aquarium

Most visitors walk the main loop, see the animals on the map's front cover, and head for the exit. A Let's Tingo board gives them a reason to go further. We build a zoo scavenger hunt for your park, a bingo board of animals, exhibits and moments worth looking for, and your visitors play it as they walk.

Each visitor gets their own board from the same list of finds, and the first to fill five in a row calls a Tingo. Families race each other down the paths, and the exhibit at the far end of the park finally gets its crowd.

Families crowd a polar bear habitat rail, a boy and a young girl at the front and a visitor behind holding a phone up to photograph the bear.

How it works for your visitors

A QR code on a sign at the entrance, on the park map or on the back of a ticket is all it takes. Visitors scan it, join in a tap, and get their board. Joining is free for them, in the app or in a browser.

Families work their way through the park together, calling out the sleeping lion and the otter with a toy, looking up at the habitats instead of down at a map.

Zoo bingo that walks people past what they'd miss

You know which exhibits get passed by, and those are the ones to put on the board. A find like "Third toucan" or "Otter with a toy" sends people looking closer at the habitats they'd usually walk straight past, and a find like "Keeper talk" brings them to the scheduled moments you want full.

We write the board with you, from your knowledge of the park and ours of what makes a good find. The board carries your name, your colors and your logo.

Zoo activities with a prize at the end

Turn it into a sponsored game and the board ends in a prize drawing. Visitors who hit the Tingo target before the game ends are entered, they can see how many people are playing and how many have qualified, and one winner is drawn when time runs out. It's a simple way to give a membership, a behind-the-scenes tour or a gift shop voucher a crowd of people working toward it.

An aquarium scavenger hunt works the same way

Aquariums have the same problem: in the dim light, people follow the crowd past the big tank and miss the small ones. A board with the moray eel, the seahorse and the diver at feeding time on it gets them looking into every tank on the way through.
