Pumpkin patch activities that take families across the whole farm

On a busy October Saturday, most families pick a pumpkin from the first field they reach, line up for the hayride, and head home. A Let's Tingo board sends them to the rest of the farm. We build a farm scavenger hunt with you, a bingo board of pumpkins, animals and corners of your fields worth finding, and your visitors play it as they go.

Each visitor gets their own board from the same list of finds, and the first to fill five in a row calls a Tingo. Families slow down, and the goat pen and the far end of the patch finally get their share of the crowd.

How it works for your visitors

A QR code on a sign at the ticket booth, on the farm map or by the hayride stop is all it takes. Visitors scan it, join in a tap, and get their board. The game can be included with admission, and joining is free for visitors, in the app or in a browser.

Families work their way across the farm together, calling out the warty pumpkin and the scarecrow in overalls.

Pumpkin patch games built around your farm

You know which parts of the farm people miss, and those are the ones to put on the board. A find like "Goat on a ramp" or "Twin pumpkins" slows families down in the corners they'd usually rush through, and a find like "Cider press" brings them to the barn store.

We write the board with you, from your knowledge of the farm and ours of what makes a good find. The board carries your name, your colors and your logo. Make it a join-any-time game, and families arriving at three can jump in alongside the morning crowd.

Put a few finds inside the maze: the scarecrow at a dead end, the sign at the halfway point, the bridge over the top. A corn maze scavenger hunt keeps families looking around while they find their way through.

Agritourism ideas for every season

October isn't the only month you're open. If you're collecting agritourism ideas for the rest of the year, a spring board for strawberry picking or a summer board for the sunflower field keeps the same game going.

A prize at the end of the day

Turn it into a sponsored game and the board ends in a prize drawing. Visitors who hit the Tingo target before the game ends are entered, they can see how many people are playing and how many have qualified, and one winner is drawn when time runs out. A season pass or the biggest pumpkin in the patch gives people a reason to see the whole farm.

Let's build a board for your farm

Tell us about your farm: what's growing, who visits, and what you most want them to see. We'll come back with ideas for what a Tingo board could look like across your fields. Let's Tingo works the same way for festival activities, farmers market events and garden scavenger hunts, and you'll find everything else we build on our partners page.
